The first stage of most ghostwriting projects starts with an extended brainstorming phase. This might include research, interviews, transcriptions, compilation of notes and documents. We help to pull everything together, and to expand your pool of ideas as much as possible, before proceeding... |

Building the Skeleton |

The book really starts coming together shortly after the brainstorming phase begins (the timing varies with each project, of course)... Building the skeleton is where the fun begins. We work with each author to create the core of the manuscript. This process includes extensive discussions about branding, flow, and marketing strategies. |

Fleshing out your Text |
| |
From the brainstorming through the skeleton phase, no actual writing takes place. The fleshing-out period should only be started after the skeleton is completely in place, understood, and agreed on by all involved... The writing is hard work, but proceeds chapter by chapter, page by page. We work in a collaborative process, in a number of ways. For example, if an author has already written several chapters, and would like us to write in like fashion, we work on that. If an author has little time to get into the nitty-gritty of typing, we can take dictations and work from those. If a teacher or speaker is writing a book, we will likely take lectures and speeches and modify them for use in the book. And, all text can easily be expanded with targeted research campaigns. |

Copy and Content Editing |

After we have put your book together, the hard work isn't over! We go through an intensive and extensive copy and content editing process, with or without the author's involvement (according to their preference). This leads to the final stage of ghostwriting... |

Finalizing your Manuscript |

After we have worked with you from A to Z on ghostwriting your book, we make sure that it has all final touches, before you send it out for review, to agents, or for publication. We would also be happy to help you put together a query letter to publishers and agents. |
