And, in the process of mastering, we will make it sound as if you paid thousands for recording time at a major studio!

We have a team of musicians who work quickly and professionally every time. We match the themes of your audio book in close collaboration with you through the entire process. All of our music is custom-written for your project. No stock music here! The music is royalty-free. You own it once it’s part of your project.

There are a few tests of a cover’s effectiveness used in the industry. One is to look at the title from across the room — can you still read the title? Another is to photocopy the cover in black and white — can you still see the design and read the title? But what it all comes down to is style. MARKETING

The Audio Book market is expanding exponentially. At the moment, there are only about 10-20,000 Audio Books published each year in the United States, while at the same time, there are nearly 300,000 “paper” titles written each year in just the United States. We can help you explore this opening market, and find your niche, brand, and success!

We offer iTunes and Audible.com distribution.

We work with you at the close of audio production to develop a marketing strategy, and can continue to walk you through the process of getting exposure and publicity in advance of the audio book’s release. We have distribution for all of our Audio Book authors through iTunes, audible.com and dozens of other digital sites online, and can help to broaden your traditional audio book base to Web 2.0 as well.

We focus on several different aspects of publicity. Market and media research, continual contact to the online media, website marketing, internet advertising methods, internet networking, weekly updates on developments and progress, and expenses for phone calls, mailings and research materials are included as part of the consultation. We include entry level marketing with our Audio Book Packages, and we offer additional services upon request.

Audio Book Packages include editing, mixing, mastering, layout and design of booklet and cover of Audio CD product, and design of web materials related to the book. EDITING/MIXING/MASTERING: $695/10,000 words.

We include editing, mixing and mastering services, as well as graphic design and layout with our Audio Book Packages at a rate of only $695/10,000 words. If you have a very long book, we recommend that you ask us about our abridging services — we can work with you on streamlining your text. We work diligently, smoothly, and quickly to get your text prepared for release and distribution.

GRAPHIC DESIGN/LAYOUT: $595+.

Our award-winning design team works quickly and efficiently on putting your design on paper. We work with you on your ideas, and/or help to generate custom designs with your feedback. If you already have a book, we can easily take your existing design and modify it for the cover of the Audio Book as well.

PROFESSIONAL ACTORS: $350/1st hour of recorded text

Our stellar team of professional voice talent will record your project at unmatched rates! They charge $350 for the first hour of recorded audio (not time in the studio, but actual recorded time), and $200 for each additional hour. A minority of our actors have chosen to charge more for their services — those actors may be hired for the additional fees they require. We will, of course, inform you of each actor’s pay grade when we start work on your Audio Book Package.

CUSTOM SOUNDTRACK: $495/recorded hour.

For a DVD of the raw music files, there is an additional fee of $250. All music is original, and composed especially for your project, to your specifications. The music is royalty-free, and will not incur any additional licensing fees. The soundtrack can be in any genre; anything from classical to jazz to world to rock and roll — we do it all.

ABRIDGMENT SERVICES: $595+/10,000 words

Abridgment is a very good idea for many manuscripts out there. Do you really want someone to carry around your Audio Book with 12 CDs in it? A manageable size is 3-5 CDs, at most! We offer abridgment services, as well as copy and content editing. Expedited service is available for an additional fee.

SET-UP FEE: $495.

To prepare the files for editing, mixing and mastering, as well as set up the printing specs on the artwork, there is an additional $500 set-up fee applied to each Audio Book Package.
